RayNeo Launches Batman AR Glasses

AR wearable tech firm RayNeo has unveiled a special Batman Edition of its new RayNeo Air 4 Pro smart glasses at MWC 2026. The new device, available for purchase since February 27, marks another entry into the growing consumer augmented reality market, using a popular franchise to attract buyers.

The special edition glasses come in two versions: the "Justice Edition" themed after Batman and the "Chaos Edition" for the Joker, which includes a detachable mask styled after each character. The Batman package adds a $20 premium to the standard RayNeo Air 4 Pro's $299 price tag. Underneath the themed accessories, the glasses feature dual 0.6-inch Micro-OLED panels from SeeYa that project a virtual 201-inch screen in front of the user. This is the first time AR glasses have supported HDR10, allowing for a greater range of colors and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The device maintains a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. For audio, RayNeo partnered with Bang & Olufsen to tune the glasses' four-speaker system, an upgrade from the dual-chamber system in previous models. Despite the added components, the glasses weigh just 76 grams, making them comparable to traditional eyewear and lighter than many VR/AR headsets. The RayNeo Air 4 Pro is an iteration on the company's previous models, like the Air 3s Pro, and is positioned as a "pocket TV" or wearable display for media consumption and gaming. It connects to devices like smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles via a USB-C cable for screen mirroring. This launch enters a growing consumer AR glasses market valued at over $1.1 billion in 2024 and projected to reach over $1.6 billion by 2031. RayNeo's pricing strategy places the Air 4 Pro as a more affordable option compared to competitors like the Xreal 1S, which retails for around $449.
