Apple HomePad Delayed Again
The Apple HomePad smart display is delayed to fall 2026, due to integrating a more conversational Siri HomePad reportedly delayed (again), and it's all Siri's fault (again) | Macworld, Apple reportedly targeting smart home display release around iOS 27 - 9to5Mac.
The delay is reportedly due to Apple's ongoing efforts to improve Siri's conversational abilities. Apple wants Siri to be more competitive with other voice assistants on the market. The new HomePad is now expected to launch alongside iOS 27 in the fall of 2026. Apple is reportedly targeting a smart home display release around the same time. This isn't the first time the HomePad has faced delays. Previous delays have also been attributed to Siri's shortcomings.
