Peak XV Partners Closes $1.3B Fund
Peak XV Partners closed $1.3B across India Seed, Venture, and APAC funds [https://x.com/i/status/2031402775528308983] to back AI, FinTech, Consumer, and DeepTech founders.
The new funds include a $700 million fund for India and Southeast Asia, a $100 million fund for Southeast Asia seed investments, and a $500 million fund for the firm’s growth-stage investments in Asia beyond India and Southeast Asia. Peak XV will invest across stages, from seed to growth. Peak XV Partners, formerly Sequoia Capital India & Southeast Asia, rebranded in June 2023 after splitting from Sequoia Capital. The firm has invested in companies like GoTo, Tokopedia, Traveloka, Carro, and PatSnap. The firm plans to increase its focus on AI, fintech, and SaaS companies with the new capital. Peak XV has $9 billion in assets under management.
