Sportradar has updated its VAIX artificial intelligence suite with new models trained on World Cup betting behavior and a chat-style analytics tool for operators. (x.com) VAIX is the company’s personalization engine for sports betting and casino apps, where software ranks games, bets and offers for each user in real time. Sportradar’s documentation says the system is built to deliver recommendations across sports and casino products through its Personalization Services application programming interface. (docs.sportradar.com) The new Q1 release adds dynamic casino lobbies, smart notifications and enhanced live analytics for partners, according to Sportradar’s April 2026 announcement on X. The company also said the update includes conversational analytics, which lets clients query performance data in a chat interface instead of pulling reports manually. (x.com) Sportradar has been folding VAIX deeper into its product stack as betting and gaming operators look for the same kind of recommendation systems used by streaming and shopping platforms. VAIX’s own site says the system has processed more than 231 billion transactions, trained 66,000 models and served 163 million users across operator clients. (vaix.ai) The timing fits a broader push by Sportradar to sell more software on top of its sports data business. In its annual report filed March 27, 2026, the company described itself as a technology platform serving betting operators, media companies and sports organizations, and said 2025 revenue rose 17% to €1.29 billion. (sec.gov) The company’s filings also show why personalization tools are becoming a bigger part of that pitch. Sportradar reported a 109% customer net retention rate for 2025, a sign that existing clients kept spending more, while the company expanded its rights and content portfolio through the IMG Arena acquisition completed on November 1, 2025. (investors.sportradar.com) Recent partner deals show VAIX moving beyond a standalone add-on. Gaming Innovation Group said on March 31, 2026 that it would embed VAIX across its platform in more than 31 regulated markets, with real-time sports recommendations, casino personalization and retention tools. (gig.com) Another April 15, 2026 integration with Fincore paired VAIX with a bonus-management system so operators could act on player predictions inside existing platforms without rebuilding their front ends. That points to the practical goal of the latest update: turning more of Sportradar’s data into on-screen recommendations, alerts and dashboards that partners can use immediately. (fincore.com)
