*Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally* marks Styles' fourth studio album, ending a nearly four-year hiatus since *Harry's House*. The album was produced by Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson, frequent collaborators on Styles' previous albums. Recording for the album began in 2024 and finished on June 25, 2025. Studios in the UK, Germany, and the US were used, including RAK, Abbey Road Studios, and Hansa Studios. The album's lead single, "Aperture," debuted on January 22 and set the tone for the album. Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice and the House Gospel Choir provided background vocals on several tracks. Themes of personal growth are explored throughout the album, with tracks like "American Girls" and "Paint By Numbers" delving into fame and introspection. Musically, the album continues Styles' exploration of indie pop, incorporating electronic, funk, and softer elements. Styles announced a series of concert residencies in seven cities, titled "Together, Together," to coincide with the album's release. In May 2026, he will curate the 31st edition of the Meltdown Festival in London. His previous album, *Harry's House*, was a global success, topping charts worldwide and winning Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards. It also broke vinyl sales records. Styles' earlier albums, *Fine Line* (2019) and his self-titled debut (2017), were also commercially successful. Styles' music blends pop, rock, soft rock, synth-pop, and disco influences. Prior to his solo career, Styles was a member of One Direction, one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
