New EDM Fest at Coachella Site
Calvin Harris will headline a new EDM festival called Head Trip at the Coachella site, announced March 10 [https://x.com/i/status/2031469786312421672].
Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, is organizing this new EDM festival. Head Trip will be a one-time-only event held on October 10 and 11. The lineup includes Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, and Fisher b2b Chris Lake (as Under Construction). Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey are also performing. Head Trip will feature a single stage with no overlapping sets. The festival will also host the U.S. debut of Floating Points' Sunflower Sound System, an immersive audio installation inside a dome tent. Passes go on sale March 13 at 11 a.m. PT, with options for a $99 down payment. Goldenvoice also organizes Power Trip and Desert Trip, which featured rock and heavy metal acts.
