Navigara Launches AI Performance Platform with $2.5M

San Francisco-based Navigara has launched a "performance layer" platform for engineering teams, backed by $2.5 million in funding. The tool is designed to help business leaders measure whether their investments in AI tools are actually improving performance and delivering ROI.

The funding round was led by Inovo VC, with participation from Rockaway Ventures and QQ Capital. Navigara, though headquartered in San Francisco, maintains its engineering operations in Prague and was co-founded in 2025 by former CTO Jirka Bachel and Peter Malina. The company's mission is rooted in founder Jirka Bachel's personal story; after surviving a plane crash in 2023, he applied a disciplined, data-focused mindset to his recovery, which now forms the basis of Navigara's "measure what matters" philosophy. Navigara's platform integrates with tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Linear, using autonomous AI agents to analyze a company's development activity. It provides metrics on code quality, delivery velocity, and how engineering work aligns with business goals, without retaining the source code itself. This focus on outcomes over mere activity aims to solve a key pain point for CTOs: quantifying whether expensive AI coding tools are actually improving productivity or just increasing code volume. The platform establishes historical baselines to measure the true impact of new tools and processes. One of the key investors, Petr Šmíd of Rockaway Ventures, highlighted that after the initial wave of AI adoption, it's now critical for companies to distinguish valuable tools from unnecessary expenses, a niche Navigara aims to fill. Interestingly, before its current iteration, the company was known as Joblytics, a global job aggregation engine. Following a pivot and a pre-seed round, the team developed the new performance analytics platform, securing six companies as early adopters before this latest funding round. The platform is designed for security-conscious clients, offering deployment options within a customer's own private cloud environment to ensure that proprietary code and data never leave their secure perimeter.
