JennAir Unveils New Kitchen Concepts
Luxury appliance brand JennAir is showcasing two contrasting kitchen designs at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). The concepts include a minimalist "No Kitchen Kitchen" where appliances are hidden, and a bold, texture-rich design where they are a centerpiece. The company also announced a renewed focus on induction cooking technology as part of its presentation.
- The two contrasting kitchen concepts are officially named "The Ethereal" for the minimalist design and "The Daring" for the bold, texture-rich version. - The designs were created in partnership with Kerrie Kelly, an interior designer and the 2026 National Board Chair for the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). - "The Daring" kitchen features a RISE™ 48" Induction Professional-Style Range set against the bold "Grape Harvest" color by Sherwin Williams, and a JennAir® wine column with a decorative panel from a collaboration with Nature Squared. - The "No Kitchen Kitchen," or "The Ethereal," uses integrated appliances like the RISE™ 30" Single Wall Oven and a 36" NextGen Downdraft Induction cooktop to create a seamless look that feels more like a living space. - The brand's "No Kitchen Kitchen" concept has historical roots in its invention of downdraft ventilation, which first enabled open-concept kitchens by eliminating the need for bulky overhead hoods. - JennAir's expanded induction lineup includes features like "Temperature-Controlled Cooking," which allows setting a precise temperature rather than a power level, and "Flex-Choice™ Zones" that combine elements to fit larger cookware. - Alongside the kitchen concepts, the company also launched a new partnership for custom appliance panels with cosine manufacturer Dekton. - These dual concepts align with major industry directions identified in the NKBA's 2026 Kitchen Trends Report, which points to the growth of both "Contemporary/Modern Minimalism" and "Personalized style & expression".
