- Prior to joining Michael Baker International, Joanna Robinson accumulated over two decades of experience as a technology executive, focusing on business transformation and building high-performing teams across various industries. - In her new role, Robinson will oversee a team of more than 400 technology professionals within the GovTech division. - Her primary focus will be on expanding the firm's client base in both public and private sectors by leveraging artificial intelligence and other digital tools to modernize legacy systems and improve decision-making for clients. - Michael Baker International's GovTech division provides a range of services including public safety solutions, digital government solutions, and tech-enabled services, aiming to deliver seamless and secure digital services. - The GovTech vertical is one of four major business verticals for the company, alongside Infrastructure, Integrated Design and Advisory (IDA), and Mitigation, Environmental, Resiliency, Response and Recovery (MER3). - The company has been actively expanding its GovTech capabilities, which includes forming a Technology Committee and an Innovation Accelerator Lab to focus on AI, cloud, digital modernization, and cybersecurity.
