Casepoint Names New Chief Product Officer
Legal tech company Casepoint has appointed Pete Feinberg, a veteran of enterprise SaaS and AI, as its new Chief Product Officer. The hire is aimed at advancing the company's unified AI-powered platform for legal and compliance teams.
This hire follows a period of significant transformation for the company. In January 2025, private equity firm Thoma Bravo acquired a majority stake in Casepoint and simultaneously merged it with OPEXUS, a leading provider of government process management software. The merger created a combined entity aimed at providing a comprehensive platform for both corporate legal departments and government agencies. The new company pairs Casepoint's specialty in eDiscovery and data compliance with OPEXUS's expertise in managing workflows for the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), audits, and investigations. This new strategic direction came with a change in leadership. The merged company is now led by the former CEO of OPEXUS, Howard Langsam, and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. As part of the transition, Casepoint's co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Vishal Rajpara, joined the new executive leadership team. Haresh Bhungalia, who had been Casepoint's CEO, stepped down from a day-to-day operational role following the merger.
