Amazon Web Services is holding its Bengaluru summit on April 22 and 23, splitting the event into separate business and builder tracks at the KTPO Exhibition Center in Whitefield. (aws.amazon.com) The company says the two-day program includes more than 150 sessions on cloud computing, agentic artificial intelligence, serverless software, workshops, and customer showcases. AWS says registrations for the in-person event are closed. (aws.amazon.com) Day 1, called the Innovators Edition, was scheduled for April 22 and aimed at business leaders and decision makers. AWS listed keynote speakers including Wipro data and artificial intelligence executive Srinivasaa HG, Swiggy chief technology officer Madhusudhan Rao, AWS infrastructure vice president Prasad Kalyanaraman, and AWS India and South Asia president Sandeep Dutta. (aws.amazon.com) Day 2, the Technical Edition on April 23, is aimed at developers, architects, and other technical practitioners. AWS says that program includes hands-on labs, live coding demonstrations, and sessions on Amazon Nova and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, plus an AWS Village with more than 50 demos and expert-led sessions. (aws.amazon.com) Cloud computing is rented computing power and software delivered over the internet instead of run on a company’s own servers. AWS uses the summit to push that model alongside newer artificial intelligence tools that can generate content or carry out multi-step tasks with limited human prompting. (aws.amazon.com) The Bengaluru event shows how Amazon is pitching artificial intelligence as part of a broader cloud sale in India, where local startups and large companies are building products for domestic and global markets. AWS says the Innovators Edition focuses on secure artificial intelligence, digital transformation, data, application modernization, and security-first system design. (aws.amazon.com) AWS has been building that message across India this year. In January, its Bengaluru AI Conclave centered on “Agentic AI and Data,” and AWS described artificial intelligence systems that pursue goals, collaborate with humans, and rely on enterprise data strategies. (aws.amazon.com) The summit also extends beyond the convention hall. AWS says attendees who missed Bengaluru can register for AWS Summit India Online on June 3, 2026, where the company plans 50 or more virtual sessions and downloadable event content. (aws.amazon.com; aws.amazon.com) For AWS, the Bengaluru summit is one stop in a global series of free in-person events built to turn cloud and artificial intelligence interest into product adoption, partner deals, and training for the next round of customers.
