XPENG Delivered 15,256 Vehicles in February

Chinese AI mobility company XPENG announced it delivered a total of 15,256 vehicles in February 2026. The monthly results provide a fresh data point on the company's performance within the highly competitive global EV market.

The February delivery figure represents a sequential drop from the 20,011 vehicles XPENG delivered in January 2026 and a significant decrease from the 30,453 units delivered in February 2025. This comes amid a highly competitive market and a seasonal slowdown due to the Chinese New Year holiday. In the broader Chinese EV landscape, XPENG's February performance placed it behind key rivals. For comparison, NIO reported delivering 20,797 vehicles, a 57.6% year-over-year increase, while Li Auto announced 26,421 deliveries for the same month. XPENG's core technology focus remains its full-stack, in-house developed Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) called XNGP. The system is being rolled out across major Chinese cities and is designed to function without relying on high-precision maps, a key differentiator in the autonomous driving space. Beyond consumer vehicles, XPENG is making significant investments in "physical AI," aiming to become a global embodied intelligence company. The company plans to launch three self-developed, mass-produced Robotaxi models in 2026, designed for Level 4 autonomous driving with a pure vision-based solution. A key element of this strategy is the development of a humanoid robot named 'IRON'. XPENG is breaking ground on a dedicated humanoid robot factory in Guangzhou and aims for mass production by the end of 2026, initially for factory automation and later for household applications. The 'IRON' robot features a biomimetic design with over 60 joints, is powered by three of XPENG's own Turing AI chips, and integrates the company's Vision-Language-Action (VLA) large model for interaction and task execution. The company has already completed its first automotive-grade prototype, signaling a deep integration of its vehicle manufacturing expertise into its robotics division. XPENG's ambitions also extend to the sky with its "Land Aircraft Carrier" flying car. The company reportedly has thousands of orders for the vehicle, which consists of a six-wheeled EV that houses a two-seat electric aircraft, with first deliveries anticipated by the end of 2026.
