TAEMIN tour codes sell for $6

Fans on X said Tuesday that access codes tied to TAEMIN’s 2026-27 world tour were being rented or resold ahead of the singer’s Latin America dates. The posts centered on the Mexico stops of the <LiMiNaL> tour and described a small but active resale market for codes rather than tickets themselves. Users discussing the practice referred to Monterrey and Mexico City and said some sellers were offering backup codes or city-by-city access for about $6. TAEMIN’s official tour site lists Monterrey for October 28 and Mexico City for October 30 as part of the Latin America leg. (taemintour.com) ### What exactly were fans saying was for sale? X users described two types of offers on Tuesday: backup codes and city-specific code rentals for TAEMIN’s Mexico dates. The posts did not describe full ticket transfers; instead, they pointed to access credentials that could be used during presale or purchase windows. The reported price point was low but specific. Fans said some codes were being offered for roughly $6 per city, with Monterrey and Mexico City mentioned by name in the posts. (x.com) ### Which TAEMIN dates were involved? TAEMIN’s official tour site lists the Mexico leg of the 2026-27 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR <LiMiNaL> with Arena Monterrey on October 28 and Fray Nano Stadium in Mexico City on October 30. The same schedule places those concerts after a U.S. run in October and before stops in Santiago, Lima and São Paulo in November. (x.com) Soompi, citing TAEMIN’s announced Latin America schedule, also reported the Mexico dates as part of the expanded world tour lineup. (x.com) That outlet said the Latin American leg includes Monterrey and Mexico City before the tour moves on to Chile, Peru and Brazil. ### Why are codes circulating at all? Several websites are advertising presale or access-code information for the Mexico stops. (taemintour.com) Search results surfaced pages for “Código preventa Taemin Monterrey 2026” and “Código preventa Taemin Ciudad de México 2026,” indicating that code-based access had already become part of the ticketing conversation around those dates. Those pages do not by themselves prove unauthorized resale, but they show that presale-code demand existed before the fan complaints spread on X. (soompi.com) The social posts went a step further by alleging that some users were monetizing that demand through rentals and resales. ### Was this about official ticket sales or a gray market around access? The posts pointed to a gray market around access rather than a documented change in official ticketing policy. (codigopreventa.com) The available public material from TAEMIN’s tour site identifies the dates and venues, but it does not, in the search snippets reviewed, describe any approved secondary market for code rentals. Because the underlying X screenshots and resale references are user-generated, the scale of the activity could not be independently confirmed from official promoter or venue statements reviewed in this reporting. (x.com) What is verifiable is narrower: fans publicly alleged code resale on September 8, named Monterrey and Mexico City, and cited a price of about $6 per city. ### What happens next for the Mexico stops? The next concrete milestones are the concerts themselves. (taemintour.com) TAEMIN’s official schedule lists Arena Monterrey for October 28, 2026, and Fray Nano Stadium in Mexico City for October 30, 2026, with those shows forming the Mexico portion of the Latin America leg.
