Nike Unveils A'ja Wilson's A'Two
Nike has officially announced A'ja Wilson's second signature sneaker, the Nike A'Two. The first colorway "A'Pink" launches in May at $145, boasting upgraded cushioning with a forefoot Zoom Air unit and a molded leather upper that continues the pearl motif from her first signature shoe.
The release of A'ja Wilson's second signature shoe, the A'Two, follows the massive success of her debut A'One, which sold out online in just minutes in May 2025. This high demand prompted Nike to employ a limited release strategy, typically reserved for high-heat streetwear collaborations, to build buzz around the performance sneaker. The A'Two represents a significant technical evolution from its predecessor. Key upgrades include the addition of a midfoot shank for enhanced stability and energy flow, a reinforced external heel counter for better support during sharp movements, and a widened toebox based on consumer feedback. The shoe also features a Cushlon 3.0 midsole for cushioning and a high-grip traction pattern. Wilson has described the A'Two as "bigger, bolder and even more me," stating that the design inspiration comes from her personal journey and record-breaking 2025 season. A personal touch includes a copy of her forearm tattoo inside the tongue of the shoe, which reads, "You have to face setbacks in order to go forward." The launch "A'Pink" colorway features color-shifting iridescent finishes and an embroidered star at the toe. The shoe was officially unveiled in Paris during Wilson's first global tour with Nike Basketball, highlighting her position as a key international face for the brand. Wilson wore the A'One while making history in 2025, becoming the first WNBA player to win a championship, Finals MVP, league MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and the scoring title in a single season. Alongside the A'Two, Nike is releasing an expanded seven-piece signature apparel collection for adults and kids. The line includes unique pieces like an "A'Sym" reversible single-leg tight and an oversized, sateen-lined hoodie, designed to blend performance with Wilson's "A'ja-luxe" style.
