New Nonfiction in Paperback This Spring
Five nonfiction books are coming out in paperback this spring, ranging from literary criticism to memoirs.
One of the books is Cathy Park Hong’s essay collection, *Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning*, which was previously a National Book Critics Circle Award winner. The book explores Hong's personal experiences with racial identity and the broader social and political issues affecting Asian Americans. Another title is * সৌমিত্র*, by Heather Radke, which investigates the history of bust size in America and how it reflects changing cultural values. Radke's work combines cultural analysis with historical research to explore the evolving ideals of the female body. Also coming out in paperback is *A History of Burning*, by Janika Willem, a book that examines the cultural significance of fire and its impact on society. Willem’s book explores the ways in which fire has been used for both destruction and creation throughout history.
