Fuorisalone 2026 is widening its map with first-time venues across Milan, turning private houses, historic palazzi and a 1929 swimming complex into exhibition stops. (wallpaper.com) The official Fuorisalone platform says this year’s program runs from April 20 to April 26, 2026, alongside Milan Design Week, with 846 events already listed and a homepage counter promoting 872 events across the city. (fuorisalone.it) Wallpaper singled out six additions to that circuit: Villa Pestarini, Casa Rossa, Palazzo Acerbi, Piscina Romano, Palazzo Olivazzi Crespi and the Bonsai Museum. The magazine described them as spaces the Design Week public will be seeing for the first time. (wallpaper.com) The best-known of the new entries may be Villa Pestarini, a 1939 private residence by architect Franco Albini that Alcova has secured as one of its two 2026 sites. Fuorisalone.it says Alcova is spreading more than 120 international exhibitors across Villa Pestarini and the Military Hospital of Baggio. (wallpaper.com) (fuorisalone.it) Piscina Romano shows the same shift in a different form. Fuorisalone.it says the 1929 complex by engineer-architect Luigi Lorenzo Secchi will host 6:AM’s glass exhibition, keeping the changing rooms, ticket office and Liberty-style building in the visitor route. (fuorisalone.it) The official theme for 2026 is “Be the Project,” which Fuorisalone describes as a move away from the finished object and toward design as an evolving process shaped by people, materials and technology. That framing fits a week in which the setting itself is part of the exhibit. (fuorisalone.it) Fuorisalone is also adding logistics to match the sprawl. The organizers introduced a Fuorisalone Passport for Brera Design District, giving visitors a single free registration and a personal QR code for more than 40 participating events. (fuorisalone.it) Other venues on the 2026 route tie brand launches to architecture with heavy backstory. At Palazzo Acerbi on Corso di Porta Romana 3, Fuorisalone.it says H&M HOME will present its Kelly Wearstler collaboration inside a baroque building known for a cannonball still lodged in its façade. (fuorisalone.it) The broader map keeps expanding beyond the old standbys. Fuorisalone’s own preview says Milan will host installations, talks and district programs from Portanuova to Brera, while outside partners such as Osaka Design Week are using the week to build new Milan ties. (fuorisalone.it) For visitors arriving in Milan on April 20, the practical change is simple: the itinerary is no longer just about what is on display, but which doors are opening. (fuorisalone.it)
