Streisand's honorary Palme d'Or will be awarded during the Cannes Film Festival, which runs May 12–23. This marks the first time the legendary singer and actress has ever attended the festival. The award recognizes Streisand's outstanding contribution to cinema. She is one of the few EGOT winners, having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award. Streisand may also be singing at the Oscars prior to the Cannes Film Festival.
