Clippers Rally Past Warriors

Kawhi Leonard scored 23 points as the Los Angeles Clippers rallied from 17 points down to beat Golden State 114-101. The victory featured Darius Garland making his Clippers debut after his recent trade, while the Warriors' playoff hopes continue to dim as they struggle to hold late leads. NBA highlights from March 2 showcase the Western Conference battle.

The 17-point blown lead was the largest for the Warriors this season. Golden State's offense collapsed in the second half, shooting just 15 for 46 from the field as the Clippers outscored them 72-45 after halftime. The loss dropped the Warriors to 31-30 on the season. Darius Garland, in his first game since January 14th, came off the bench and scored 12 points but also committed 5 turnovers. The Clippers acquired the two-time All-Star from the Cleveland Cavaliers in early February in a trade that sent James Harden to the Eastern Conference. Garland's father, Winston Garland, also played for the Clippers after being traded from the Golden State Warriors 36 years ago. The younger Garland is in the third year of a five-year, $197 million contract. For the Clippers, the victory moved them to 29-31. Kawhi Leonard was instrumental in the comeback, scoring 15 of his 23 points in the second half. The win keeps the Clippers in the hunt for a play-in tournament spot in a crowded Western Conference.
