New EDM Friday Features Major Artists

"New EDM Friday" (Feb 27) spotlights releases from John Summit, David Guetta, Kaskade, and Armin van Buuren among others—drawing 16 likes and 545 views. EML Recordings also dropped XidosMusic's "Fade", an uplifting trance track at 138 BPM with euphoric arpeggios.

John Summit's new track "WITH ME" is a collaboration with alt-pop artist Julia Wolf and serves as the third single from his forthcoming album, *CTRL ESCAPE*, set for an April 15 release. The song signals a shift in his sound, moving toward darker, more intimate, and emotionally charged emo-influenced territory. This new musical direction comes as Summit's career hits a major milestone; he is confirmed as the closing act for the main stage at Ultra Music Festival 2026. This booking marks a rapid ascent from his first Ultra appearance on the Resistance stage in 2022 to a headlining solo set. Armin van Buuren's release is "Always You," a collaboration with Richard Durand and Dicosis that serves as the official anthem for the A State of Trance 2026 ELEVATION event. The track dropped in conjunction with the festival in Rotterdam, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of his iconic radio show. On the same day, Kaskade performed a special "Redux" set at the We Belong Here festival in Miami. These deeper, more intimate sets contrast with his mainstage festival appearances and follow the late 2025 release of his album *undux*, a project he noted many labels initially passed on because it wasn't straight dance music. The trance track "Fade" by XidosMusic was released on EML Recordings, an independent UK-based label founded in 2009. The label focuses on a range of electronic genres and has previously achieved multiple No. 1 placements on Beatport charts.
