Metallica Announces World Tour

The 2026 world tour, dubbed the "M72 World Tour," will see Metallica performing in stadiums across Europe and the UK. Cities include Athens, Bucharest, Chorzów, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, Glasgow, and Cardiff. The "M72" tour will feature a unique in-the-round stage design, placing the Snake Pit in the center for a 360° view. Select cities like Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin, and London will host "No Repeat Weekends," with two different setlists each night and different opening acts. Metallica's "Life Burns Faster" residency at the Las Vegas Sphere will occur in October 2026, with dates also stretching into November 2026, and January, February and March 2027. The residency will continue the "No Repeat Weekend" concept, ensuring unique shows. The band has stated that they will not be adding any further dates to the Las Vegas Sphere residency at this time. The residency will utilize the Sphere's immersive technologies. Support acts for the European leg include Gojira, Pantera, Knocked Loose, and Avatar. "I Disappear Tickets" are available for fans wanting to attend multiple European shows.
