TCL to Supply Displays for 2026 Winter Olympics

This partnership is part of a broader, long-term strategy for TCL, which is an official Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner for home audiovisual equipment and appliances. This eight-year agreement extends through the Brisbane 2032 Games, positioning the brand at the forefront of major international sporting events. The company's sports sponsorships also include partnerships with various national football teams and the International Basketball Association (FIBA). The deal gives TCL an exclusive marketing platform, taking over a category previously held by competitor Panasonic. This move comes as TCL's market share in the global television market has been growing, even surpassing Samsung in monthly shipments in December 2025. In 2024, TCL led global shipments of 85-inch and larger TVs with a 22.1% market share and also held the top position in Mini LED TV shipments at 28.8%. At recent technology showcases like Mobile World Congress and CES, TCL CSOT has unveiled innovations such as its "Super Pixel" technology, designed to enhance image clarity while reducing power consumption by up to 25%. The company has also been advancing its Inkjet-printed OLED (IJP OLED) technology, which aims to simplify production and lower costs for next-generation displays. For the Milano Cortina 2026 games, TCL will be among other major sponsors like Deloitte, Salomon, and Grana Padano. Worldwide Olympic Partners include well-known brands such as Samsung, Coca-Cola, and Alibaba. The sponsorship provides TCL with brand exposure through on-site displays and technical support for the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS).
