Denver International Airport opened a new food court in the center of Concourse A on April 8, adding Fat Sully’s Pizza, QDOBA, Chick-fil-A and Shake Shack for travelers. (flydenver.com) The airport said the new concessions are operated by Skyport Hospitality with Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise partner Concessions of a Gladman. Skyport chief executive David Mosteller said the project adds more than 250 jobs in the Denver area. (flydenver.com) Denver International Airport chief executive Phil Washington said the food court is part of a broader rebuild aimed at serving 100 million annual passengers in the next several years. The airport’s Vision 100 plan says that first phase is designed to prepare for that traffic growth. (flydenver.com 1) (flydenver.com 2) That passenger target sits on top of a record year. Denver International Airport handled 82,427,962 passengers in 2025, up slightly from 82,358,744 in 2024, and set monthly international traffic records all year, according to the airport and local reporting. (flydenver.com) (9news.com) The new food court also extends a two-year push to remake Concourse A with more dining. In May 2024, the airport opened a Concourse A-West marketplace with Elway’s Taproom & Grill, Tacos Tequila Whiskey and Peet’s Coffee. (flydenver.com) In July 2025, Denver International Airport added three more local restaurants on Concourse A: Maria Empanada, Uncle and The Bindery. Washington said at the time that the openings were part of the new Concourse A-West expansion. (flydenver.com) The airport’s dining directory now lists Chick-fil-A in A Gates with Monday-through-Saturday hours of 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and it lists Fat Sully’s Pizza as open daily from 7 a.m. to midnight. The same directory shows the airport already had Chick-fil-A locations in B Gates and C Gates before the new Concourse A opening. (flydenver.com) Fat Sully’s gives the new lineup a Denver brand alongside national chains. The airport said the pizzeria started on East Colfax in 2008 before growing into a broader local business. (flydenver.com) For passengers, the change is simple: Concourse A now has another cluster of sit-down and grab-and-go options in its center as Denver International Airport keeps rebuilding for bigger crowds.
