Net at Work Acquires OnPar Technologies

Net at Work, a technology solutions provider for small and mid-sized businesses, has acquired OnPar Technologies. The acquisition is intended to boost Net at Work's managed services provider (MSP) expertise and expand its national presence in key vertical markets.

- OnPar Technologies, founded in 2007 by Jeremy McParlan, is a North Carolina-based IT services company specializing in Microsoft cloud solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. - The company has been recognized multiple times as a top Microsoft partner, earning the Microsoft US SMB East Region Partner of the Year in 2017. - Net at Work was founded in 1996 in New York City by brothers Alex and Edward Solomon, who still serve as Co-CEOs. - This is one of at least a dozen acquisitions by Net at Work, which has a history of purchasing IT service and software consulting firms to expand its portfolio. - In September 2023, Net at Work received a private equity investment from Lovell Minnick Partners to help scale the business and fund larger acquisitions. - OnPar's founder, Jeremy McParlan, stated that the acquisition gives his clients access to Net at Work's extensive resources and provides long-term stability and career growth opportunities for the OnPar team. - The deal was brokered by IT ExchangeNet, a firm that specializes in advising on the sales of Managed Services Providers.
