Victoria Monét's Vulnerable New Era

Victoria Monét is ushering in an empowering new chapter with her single "Let Me," exploring themes of vulnerability and partnership. She's reflecting on motherhood and personal growth as she evolves her sound beyond her previous work. The track represents a more mature artistic direction for the Grammy-winning songwriter.

Before her solo success, Monét was an established songwriter for other major artists. She co-wrote several of Ariana Grande's hits, including "thank u, next" and "7 rings," and has penned songs for artists like BLACKPINK, Selena Gomez, and Fifth Harmony. Her work on Grande's "Thank U, Next" album earned her three Grammy nominations in 2019, including for Album of the Year. Her debut studio album, *Jaguar II*, released in 2023, marked a significant commercial breakthrough. The album won Best R&B Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. The hit single "On My Mama" peaked in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Monét's daughter, Hazel, born in 2021, became the youngest Grammy nominee in history at the age of three. Hazel was nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance for her feature on the song "Hollywood." Looking ahead, Victoria Monét is scheduled to support Bruno Mars on his "The Romantic World Tour" in 2026. Several dates have been announced, including shows at Wembley Stadium in London and other venues across Europe.
