Rob Zombie Leads Metal Album Drops

February 27 brings a stacked lineup of hard rock and metal album releases including Rob Zombie, Varials, Nothing, A Wilhelm Scream, and Neal Morse Band, with Loudwire calling it a major drop day. The releases coincide with new tour announcements from Social Distortion, Between the Buried and Me, Queens of the Stone Age, and Flyleaf from February 20-26.

Rob Zombie's eighth solo album, *The Great Satan*, sees the return of guitarist Riggs and bassist Blasko for the first time since *The Sinister Urge* and *Educated Horses*, respectively. The album, released via Nuclear Blast Records, has been described as a return to his early "Hellbilly" roots. Philadelphia shoegazers Nothing have released their fifth album, *A Short History of Decay*, which features a new lineup including members of Cloakroom and Best Coast. The band will also be curating their own festival, "Slide Away," in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album *Tired of Tomorrow*.
