AI and new pools pay creators

Several social signals show fresh creator monetization experiments: an AI 'influencer' demo generated ad creative for under $1 each, a crypto‑linked Mindo AI leaderboard is offering $1.5M USDT for creators who deliver real results, and Wallchain reported paying $6M to creators in six months. Together these posts point to a mix of AI tooling and contest/leaderboard mechanics reshaping how creators earn. (x.com) (x.com) (x.com)

Creators are being paid through a new mix of artificial intelligence production tools and leaderboard-style prize pools, with one ad demo priced at under $1 per video and one crypto campaign offering $1.5 million in Tether rewards. (storyshort.ai) (kucoin.com) MindoAI describes itself as a “performance-based creator marketplace for Web3” and says it connects creators with projects that “fairly reward meaningful results – not noise.” Its public site shows rankings built from attention metrics, follower quality and posting data. (mindoshare.ai) On April 15, 2026, KuCoin reported that crypto finance app Tria launched a creator leaderboard on MindoAI with a $1.5 million Tether prize pool. KuCoin said the top 300 creators would be ranked on Tria card sales, perpetual contract trading volume and attention share, with rewards spread across four cycles. (kucoin.com) Wallchain is pitching a related model from the social side. Its site says the platform tries to measure “quality attention” instead of raw impressions, using factors such as follower quality, engaging accounts and onchain activity. (wallchain.xyz) (newsbtc.com) Wallchain’s own materials show how fast those reward pools have grown. In August 2025, the company said it had launched free mindshare leaderboards for all crypto Twitter and had onboarded more than 100,000 creators; its main site now says “Join 300,000+ Quackers.” (newsbtc.com) (wallchain.xyz) The company has also published campaign case studies tied to user growth. In one post from November 2025, Wallchain said an attention campaign for HeyElsa brought in 30,000 new onchain users in two weeks and lifted daily transactions from 11,000 to 31,000. (news.wallchain.xyz) The production side is changing at the same time. A current artificial-intelligence user-generated-content ad tool from StoryShort says brands can generate ads for under $1 each, compared with $200 to $500 for a human creator ad, and turn them around in about five minutes instead of five to 14 days. (storyshort.ai) Those claims are marketing claims, not audited industry benchmarks. But they line up with a broader push by creator-tech companies to tie payment more directly to conversions, sales and measurable audience response instead of flat sponsorship fees. (mindoshare.ai) (wallchain.xyz) (kucoin.com) The open question is whether these systems reward genuine influence or just create a new incentive to flood feeds. Wallchain has acknowledged that criticism in its own blog, where it said many people see the current attention-finance model as “Spam-to-Earn” and said bot farms and low-quality posts are a blocker. (news.wallchain.xyz) For creators, the immediate shift is concrete: cheaper artificial-intelligence ad production lowers the cost of making content, while leaderboard campaigns put larger pools of money behind posts that can be tied to sales, trades or other tracked actions.
