SF Tutoring Pilot Doubles Students at Grade-Level Reading

A five-month pilot in San Francisco schools demonstrated that short bursts of targeted tutoring doubled the proportion of students meeting grade-level reading standards. The share of students at grade level rose from 24% to 54%. The results suggest that frequent, feedback-rich micro-sessions, often supported by digital tools, are highly effective for young readers.
