b.well Unveils White-Label Health AI Assistant

b.well Connected Health has announced bailey™, a ready-to-deploy, white-label AI health assistant for organizations. The tool allows companies to deploy a branded AI assistant within their own applications in a matter of weeks. The service is powered by b.well's patient data platform, which aims to solve healthcare data fragmentation.

- The AI assistant is named after the daughter of b.well's founder and CEO, Kristen Valdes. Valdes was inspired to create b.well after her own challenging experience navigating the healthcare system for her daughter Bailey's autoimmune disorder. - B.well Connected Health has raised over $100 million in funding, including a $40 million Series C round in February 2024 and a $20 million growth capital investment in July 2025. - The company has established partnerships with major industry players like Google, Samsung, and Walgreens to enhance data sharing and create a more connected healthcare ecosystem. - The market for digital assistants in healthcare is projected to grow significantly, with one report estimating it will reach $12.7 billion by 2031, up from $3.07 billion in 2026. This growth is driven by the need to reduce administrative workloads and improve patient engagement. - The problem of healthcare data fragmentation, which b.well aims to solve, has significant financial consequences, with duplicate services costing an estimated $200 billion a year and billing-related services costing around $500 billion annually. - A recent survey found that 84% of healthcare leaders use more than 20 individual software vendors, leading to data silos and operational inefficiencies. This highlights the demand for integrated platforms like the one offered by b.well. - Founder Kristen Valdes has a background as a healthcare executive, including a role as a Vice President at United Healthcare, and was involved in building XLHealth, a Medicare Advantage plan for the chronically ill that was acquired by UnitedHealthcare for $2.4 billion.
