Sobi Targets SEK 55B Revenue by 2030

Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (Sobi) announced an ambitious new mid-term outlook during its Capital Markets Day. The company is aiming to achieve SEK 55 billion in revenue by 2030 while building a resilient platform for future growth.

- The new target of SEK 55 billion by 2030 represents a near doubling of the company's full-year 2025 revenue, which was approximately SEK 28.2 billion. That 2025 revenue marked a 15% increase at constant exchange rates over 2024. - Growth has been propelled by a strategic portfolio of newer therapies, which grew by 37% in the fourth quarter of 2025 and now accounts for 65% of total revenues. Key drivers include the haemophilia A treatment Altuvoct and Doptelet, a therapy for immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). - A significant part of the growth strategy involves acquisitions, highlighted by the recent agreement to acquire Arthrosi Therapeutics for up to $1.5 billion. The deal brings in pozdeutinurad, a late-stage, next-generation oral URAT1 inhibitor for gout. - Pozdeutinurad is currently in two global Phase 3 clinical studies, with pivotal data expected in 2026. Sobi executives stated the asset has the potential to materially accelerate growth into the mid-2030s. - The company's core therapeutic areas are Haematology, Immunology, and Specialty Care. The pipeline also includes expanding indications for drugs like Aspaveli (pegcetacoplan) for rare kidney diseases and Gamifant (emapalumab). - For 2026, the company forecasts more moderate revenue growth in the low double-digit percentage range, with an adjusted EBITA margin anticipated to be in the mid-30s, following a margin of approximately 40% in 2025.
