Britive Integrates with AWS Security Hub
Los Angeles-based Britive announced that its unified privileged access management (PAM) platform is now integrated with the Extended Plan in AWS Security Hub. The integration aims to provide a more unified security solution for Amazon Web Services customers.
The AWS Security Hub Extended Plan, which integrates Britive's technology, was officially launched in February 2026. This new plan is designed to streamline how companies purchase and deploy enterprise-level security solutions from various partners. For customers, this means a single bill and a unified support experience for a suite of security tools. Britive is one of a select group of launch partners for the Extended Plan, joining other notable cybersecurity firms such as CrowdStrike, Okta, and Zscaler. The integration works by feeding security findings from Britive's platform into the AWS Security Hub. These findings are standardized using the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF), allowing security teams to analyze alerts from different tools in a single, consolidated view. This collaboration addresses the growing challenge of managing privileged access in complex, multi-cloud environments. A common and critical vulnerability in such settings is the over-provisioning of access and the persistence of "standing privileges"—permissions that are granted and never revoked. These standing privileges create a larger attack surface for potential breaches. Britive's platform is built to counter this by enforcing a "Zero Standing Privileges" model. It provides "Just-in-Time" (JIT) access, meaning permissions are granted to users, applications, and even AI agents ephemerally and are automatically revoked after a task is completed. According to Britive's Co-Founder and CEO, Art Poghosyan, this integration allows customers to move beyond passive monitoring. He stated that it enables them to identify risks through a unified identity registry, govern access with a common policy engine, and enforce dynamic, short-lived privileges when requested. Founded in 2018, the Glendale-based company has steadily grown, raising a total of $36 million in funding. Its most recent funding round was a Series B in March 2023, which brought in $20.5 million. The company's focus is on providing a unified way to manage access across various cloud platforms and on-premises systems.
