The Warning Drops Kerosene Video
Mexican rock trio The Warning dropped the music video for their latest single "Kerosene," amassing over 4,000 likes and strong social media engagement. The video marks another step in the band's rising profile in the rock/alternative scene. Fan response has been enthusiastic, with the track gaining traction across rock music communities.
The sister trio from Monterrey, Mexico, consists of Daniela ("Dany") on guitar and lead vocals, Paulina ("Pau") on drums and vocals, and Alejandra ("Ale") Villarreal on bass. The Warning first gained significant attention in 2014 with a viral YouTube video of them performing Metallica's "Enter Sandman," which earned praise from the band's own guitarist, Kirk Hammett. The new track "Kerosene" is an aggressive anthem with a galloping drumbeat and gritty guitar riffs. Lyrically, the song takes a defiant stance against imitators with lines like, "You rip my hair, my style, my jeans. I swear you copy everything." The fiery music video, which shows the band racing a car through the desert and performing in a junkyard with flamethrowers, gained over 250,000 YouTube views within its first 16 hours. The song follows their recent collaboration with GRAMMY winner Carín León on the track "Love To Be Loved." "Kerosene" continues the momentum from their fourth studio album, "Keep Me Fed," which was released on June 28, 2024. The album was recognized by publications like Kerrang! and Rock Sound as one of the best albums of 2024. A single from that album, "More," previously hit number 36 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. The band has a history of extensive touring, having opened for major acts like Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, and Muse. Their 2026 schedule is packed with appearances at Lollapalooza festivals across Latin America and a tour supporting Yungblud in the U.K. and U.S.
