Edible Garden Launches GLP-1 Support Products
Edible Garden has announced the introduction of a new line of clean-label wellness products designed to support individuals using GLP-1 medications. The JEALOUSY GLP-1 Support System will focus on fiber, vitality, and protein. The launch taps into the rapidly growing market associated with popular weight-loss drugs.
- The "JEALOUSY" line consists of three distinct products: "Fiber" for digestive wellness, "Hair, Skin & Nails" for vitality, and "Protein" to help maintain nourishment. - Edible Garden debuted the new line at the ECRM Total Wellness: GLP-1, Weight Management, Nutrition & Vitamin Session in Chicago, an event designed to connect brands with major retail buyers from grocery, club, drug, and e-commerce channels. - This product launch positions Edible Garden within the rapidly expanding GLP-1 nutritional support market, which is projected to grow from $4.1 billion in 2025 to $13 billion by 2035. - The company, which operates primarily in controlled environment agriculture (CEA), is leveraging its "Farm to Formula®" approach to emphasize clean-label ingredients for this new wellness line. - Edible Garden's existing product portfolio includes fresh produce, plant-based and whey protein powders under the Vitamin Way® and Vitamin Whey® brands, and the Kick. Sports Nutrition® line. - The launch is part of a larger trend where companies are creating products to manage the side effects of GLP-1 medications, targeting gut balance, muscle retention, and nutritional sufficiency. - In addition to the GLP-1 support system, the company also introduced new flavors for its Kick. Sports Nutrition® line, including Iced Coffee protein powders and a White Peach flavor for its pre- and post-workout formulas. - Edible Garden's products are currently available in over 5,000 retail locations, and the company recently implemented a 1-for-10 reverse stock split to support its Nasdaq compliance.
