LG unveils premium LG SIGNATURE appliances at KBIS 2026
LG Electronics is unveiling its next-generation LG SIGNATURE premium appliance collections at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2026. The company is also expanding its LG Pro Builder portfolio with the addition of the design-focused LG SIGNATURE line. The move aims to give homebuilders greater access to high-end appliance options backed by LG's service infrastructure.
- The three new LG SIGNATURE collections are named Iconic, Seamless, and Tailored, each designed to offer a different aesthetic, from the distinctive brass-accented Iconic to the minimalist, integrated look of the Seamless collection. - The addition of LG SIGNATURE expands the LG Pro Builder portfolio to three tiers, with the core LG brand for entry-level projects, LG SIGNATURE for the premium category, and the luxury built-in brand SKS at the high end. - The LG SIGNATURE brand was first introduced at CES in 2016 as part of a "design-first, develop-second" product approach initiated in 2014 to move the company into the luxury appliance market. - This move into the premium market represents a significant shift from the company's origins as the budget-friendly GoldStar brand, which officially became LG (Lucky-Goldstar) in 1995. - New technology showcased includes AI-powered features, such as Gourmet AI in ovens that identifies dishes to select ideal cooking settings and conversational AI in refrigerators that uses LLM technology for more natural interaction. - Beyond the SIGNATURE collections, LG is also displaying other appliances with space-saving designs, including the ventless WashCombo™ All-in-One with an Inverter HeatPump™ and the vertical AI WashTower™. - The focus on distinct design collections and advanced technology aligns with major trends at KBIS 2026, which include greater personalization, smart home integration, and wellness features in kitchen design. - The LG Pro Builder division, which now incorporates the SIGNATURE line, is a specialized unit within LG Electronics USA focused specifically on providing appliances and support for building and design professionals across single-family, multi-family, and custom home projects.
