(guide.michelin.com) Those three states will join the Guide’s existing Mexican selection of Mexico City, Oaxaca, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Quintana Roo and Nuevo León, bringing the total evaluated territories to nine. (guide.michelin.com) The MICHELIN Guide's Mexican edition was first launched in 2024, and the 2026 expansion continues its national rollout. (guide.michelin.com) The ceremony program will include distinctions such as Michelin Stars, Bib Gourmand and Green Stars for restaurants, while The MICHELIN Keys remain the Guide’s hotel recognition included in its Mexico coverage. (informador.mx) Jalisco authorities cited more than 46,000 food establishments in the state and projected the Guide’s arrival could attract an additional 2.7–3.0 million visitors following publication. (foodandtravel.mx) Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of The MICHELIN Guide, framed the 2026 additions as part of the Guide’s commitment to highlight Mexico’s regional culinary diversity and innovation.
