Humanoids move into production workflows

A humanoid, HMND 01 Alpha, completed a proof‑of‑concept in automotive logistics—autonomously retrieving and delivering materials in a factory workflow—while Chinese startup AGIBOT says it has mass‑produced 10,000 humanoid units, marking rapid industrial adoption. Together these announcements show humanoids transitioning from lab demos to real logistics and manufacturing roles. (roboticstomorrow.com; prnewswire.com)

Humanoid said its POC ran on a proprietary KinetIQ four‑layer AI stack that orchestrates humanoid fleets across environments and allows instant reallocation of units through SAP Business AI. (roboticstomorrow.com ) During final integration Humanoid’s robot API was connected to SAP’s Joule agent layer so SAP Extended Warehouse Management could send tasks to the robot over the internet, marking the company’s first live production control by an external enterprise system. (roboticstomorrow.com ) Humanoid described the test as a live production logistics trial completed on March 30, 2026 with partner Martur Fompak, and identified the company as UK‑based in its release. (roboticstomorrow.com ) AGIBOT’s PR outlined a stepped manufacturing ramp: the first 1,000 units took nearly two years, growth to 5,000 units took roughly one year, and the jump from 5,000 to the company’s latest milestone was completed in three months. (prnewswire.com ) The release named industrial integrations with Longcheer Technology for tablet production and Joyson Electronics for automotive assembly, reporting AGIBOT G2 cycle times as fast as 12.97 seconds with success rates above 99% on validated stations. (prnewswire.com ) AGIBOT said a significant portion of its produced units are already active across logistics, showroom navigation, retail, hospitality and education, and quoted CTO Peng Zhihui on the company’s shift from technical validation to scaled commercial deployment in the March 30, 2026 release.
