The Barcelona Beer Festival, celebrating its 15th anniversary from April 10-12 at Fira de Montjuïc, will host over 100 breweries and 500 beers. This year organizers are highlighting the connection between beer and Catalan cuisine. A highlight will be the pop-up restaurant 'Maridatge 5x5' led by chefs Jordi Àvila and Pep Nogué, featuring products with the 'Girona Excel·lent' seal paired with Catalan craft beers. The festival will also showcase Italian craft breweries and collaborations between Catalan and French brewers. Beyond tastings, the festival includes professional events like BBPRO and the InnBrew trade show, offering talks and workshops. Last year's festival attracted 15,000 visitors, and a similar turnout is expected this year. Daily tickets cost €6.75, while a three-day pass is available for €42.75.
