Megan and Cardi Reunite Live

Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B reunited on stage in Houston for a live performance of their viral hit "WAP," squashing any friendship rumors. The performance was part of Megan's Houston show and delighted fans with their energy and chemistry on stage.

The Houston reunion was a stop on Cardi B's "Little Miss Drama Tour," in support of her first new album in seven years. Bringing Megan out on stage in her own hometown was a significant gesture to publicly reaffirm their bond. Rumors of a rift between the two artists circulated after Megan's breakup with songwriter Pardison Fontaine, a frequent collaborator of Cardi B's. In a social media stream, Cardi had addressed the rumors by stating she was remaining neutral and on good terms with both of them. This wasn't the first time the two had to dispel rumors of a feud. In 2020, Megan Thee Stallion denied online claims that she had "liked" a YouTube comment critical of Cardi B, stating her record label managed the account at the time. Cardi B was a vocal supporter of Megan throughout the Tory Lanez shooting trial, which Megan later publicly acknowledged. In an Instagram Live, Megan thanked Cardi, saying, "At a time you could have jumped ship, you never jumped ship. And you've always been rocking with me." The duo's first collaboration, "WAP," was a cultural phenomenon and a massive commercial success, becoming Megan's third No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. They followed it up with the track "Bongos" in September 2023. The performance comes on the heels of Cardi B's long-awaited sophomore album, "Am I the Drama?", which was released in September 2025 and features their hit "WAP".
