Harry Styles Drops New Disco Tracks

Harry Styles released "Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally." and "American Girls" as part of this week's New Music Friday. Other major drops include BLACKPINK tracks, Bebe Rexha's "New Religion," plus albums from Gnarls Barkley, Morrissey, and Flying Lotus. Paste Magazine recommended new albums from Sturgill Simpson, OHYUNG, Scout Gillett, and Bory.

The release of "Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally." marks a deliberate venture for Styles into a more experimental, dance-inspired electronic sound. This new direction follows his 2022 album, "Harry's House," which earned him an Album of the Year Grammy in 2023. The album was recorded across Europe and the United States throughout 2024 and 2025 with frequent collaborators Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson. Fan reception to the disco-infused tracks has been largely positive, with many praising the album's fresh, danceable vibe. To celebrate the release, Styles held a special "One Night Only" concert in Manchester, which was made available for streaming. The K-pop powerhouse BLACKPINK also returned with a new mini-album titled "Deadline" on February 27th, their first group project since 2022. The five-track EP quickly made an impact, debuting at No. 11 on the UK's Official Albums Chart. The release follows the conclusion of their successful "Deadline" world tour, which spanned 33 sold-out shows. Bebe Rexha's new single, "New Religion," is the first official release from her upcoming fourth studio album, "Dirty Blonde," which is set to be a visual album. After an 18-year hiatus, the duo Gnarls Barkley, composed of CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse, has released their third and final album, "Atlanta." The album, which dropped on March 6th, was preceded by the lead single "Pictures." Veteran singer Morrissey has released his fourteenth solo album, "Make-Up Is a Lie," his first in over five years. The album sees him reuniting with producer Joe Chiccarelli. Electronic musician and producer Flying Lotus has released a new EP titled "BIG MAMA." The project is described as an "experimental, maximalist, hyperfast, electronic burst of energy." In addition to these major releases, music publication *Paste Magazine* has recommended new albums from Sturgill Simpson ("Johnny Blue Skies & The Dark Clouds: Mutiny After Midnight"), OHYUNG, Scout Gillett, and Bory for listeners to explore.
