Supreme x Nike CB 94 Drops

Supreme and Nike's Air Max 2 CB 94 Low collaboration drops this week in three colorways, with sneakerheads expecting quick sellouts and high resale values. The release builds on the ongoing hype around Supreme's basketball-inspired Nike collabs. Early buzz suggests this could be one of March's most coveted drops.

The original Air Max 2 CB 94, designed by Tinker Hatfield, was the signature shoe for NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. Released in 1994, its design was inspired by a straitjacket, reflecting Barkley's aggressive and in-your-face style of play on the court. The shoe featured a then-new Air Max2 technology with multi-pressure chambers in the heel for strategic cushioning and support. This collaboration continues a long history of Supreme reinterpreting Nike's basketball silhouettes, a partnership that dates back to their first Nike SB Dunk Low in 2002. Over the years, the two brands have joined forces on iconic basketball models like the Air Force 1, Air Foamposite One, and the Air More Uptempo, often leading to widespread hype and significant resale value. The new collection reimagines the classic as a low-top model, adapted for skateboarding under the Nike SB line. This transition from hardwood to grip tape is facilitated by the shoe's lockdown construction and a heel-only Air Max unit, which improves forefoot board feel for skaters. Three distinct colorways are set to drop: a triple black, a white and gum sole version, and a metallic gold. Each pair is constructed with a premium leather upper and features perforated reflective mesh underlays, a detail that becomes prominent when hit with light. Supreme's iconic red box logo is featured on the tongue and insole. The global release is scheduled for March 5th, with a subsequent release in Asia on March 7th. The retail price is reported to be $145.
