Chicago’s One of a Kind Spring Show opens Friday, April 24, at THE MART, bringing more than 350 artists and makers to a three-day indoor market. (choosechicago.com) The show runs through Sunday, April 26, on the 7th floor of THE MART at 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. (choosechicago.com) Adult tickets start at $15 for ages 12 and up, and that admission includes re-entry for all three days. Organizers said tickets went on sale online March 2 through the show website. (choosechicago.com) The event is built around direct sales from jury-selected exhibitors, which means shoppers buy from the people who designed or made the work. This year’s lineup includes more than 150 first-time participants and 35 emerging artists. (choosechicago.com) The merchandise mix stretches beyond gifts and jewelry into fine art, home décor, fashion, ceramics, photography, and gourmet goods. Organizers are also pitching the show around spring occasions including Mother’s Day, graduations, weddings, and seasonal entertaining. (choosechicago.com) The market is also adding programmed spaces around the shopping floor. The 2026 edition includes a Fine Art Gallery, an Emerging Market for first-time exhibitors, a Gourmet Market, and The Hatchery Pavilion for food entrepreneurs. Courtesy carts will also be available for shoppers moving purchases around the venue. (choosechicago.com) The show takes place at the historic Merchandise Mart, a venue long tied to Chicago’s design and trade economy. THE MART’s event calendar lists the spring show as open to the public from April 24 to April 26. Kathleen Hogan, director of the One of a Kind Show, said the spring edition keeps expanding “in creativity, excitement and community” as it returns for 2026. (choosechicago.com)
