D2C Brand Revive Home Plans Offline Expansion
D2C home decor startup Revive Home is planning to enter offline retail as it targets ₹100 crore in revenue by FY27. The move demonstrates the continued importance of an omnichannel strategy for scaling direct-to-consumer brands in India.
- The initial offline expansion will target Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru by June 2026, starting with a rollout in four multi-brand chain stores. - Revive Home was founded in Noida in 2022 by Sangeeta Vasishta. The brand's mission is to bridge the gap between skilled Indian artisans and consumers who value traditional craftsmanship. - This move is part of a larger trend where Indian D2C brands are entering physical retail to build credibility, allow customers to have a touch-and-feel experience, and tap into the 90% of the Indian retail market that remains offline. - The offline push is a key part of the strategy to double revenue and reach the ₹100 crore target in the next financial year. - D2C brands' share of retail space leasing in India more than doubled from 8% in the first half of 2024 to 18% in the same period of 2025, with the homeware and furnishings category accounting for 12% of that leasing. - The company, which has been an online-first brand, is currently unfunded and operates in a competitive market with other home decor platforms like Ellementry and DecorTwist.
