APCO Holdings promotes executives for growth

APCO Holdings announced a series of senior leadership promotions aimed at supporting strategic growth and service. The organizational changes reflect a trend among US insurance firms to strengthen their C-suites to better manage digital transformation and improve operational efficiency. The promotions were not detailed individually.

- The promotions include Tony Wanderon to Chairman of the Board while continuing as CEO, Mark Cortez to Chief Revenue Officer, and David DeCredico to Chief Experience Officer. - Christina Schrank has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, where she will manage Claims, Customer Service, and Operations. - John Lee is now the Chief Risk Officer, tasked with overseeing insurer relationships and actuarial functions. - Rico Carroccio has been named Chief of Staff and will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives across the company. - Mark Cortez, in his new role as CRO, will oversee direct dealer sales for both the EasyCare and GWC Warranty brands, which also includes the Rider's Advantage brand for RV, marine, and powersports. - David DeCredico's expanded role as CXO now includes responsibility for indirect sales, national accounts, and acquisitions, in addition to his previous oversight of reinsurance and wealth programs. - These leadership changes follow APCO Holdings' recent merger of its National Auto Care and EasyCare brands, consolidating them under the EasyCare brand to unify their F&I offerings. - The company has been in a phase of significant growth, evidenced by several recent acquisitions, including DealerPRO Training, Lawley Automotive, and Relentless Dealer Services.
